Retail Concession Manager

Job Profile

We are looking for a self-motivated passionate manager with a sense of fun to inspire and drive our team to deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

You will be a highly commercial manager with creativity to lead the team to maximise profitability and sales within the concession, whilst implementing an exciting and energetic atmosphere for their team and customers alike

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Customer Service - #goodvibesonly

  • Lead by example by identifying and assisting customers, demonstrating all key service expectations.
  • Be able to meet and greet customers, and serve more than one customer at a time by multi serving
  • Understand and be able to manage the Fitting Rooms / Fitting Room Team on roles and procedures ensuring the processes are adhered to - Greeter, Director, Receiver and Sorter as required
  • Understand and be able to identify the store and company best sellers and new lines on the salesfloor
  • Understand new and key fashion trends for the season
  • Know and understand the Cash Desk guidelines and Cash Desk procedures
  • Be able to manage the cash desk operation, including returns, the cashiers and ensuring the cash desk procedures are adhered to
  • You take pride in your environment to deliver silent service by maintaining store standards in all areas

Driving Results - #thinkbigworkhard

  • Drive store sales and footfall ensuring targets are consistently met
  • Be able to confidently talk and engage our customers on all the multi-channel platforms
  • Understand and be able to offer additional product add ons, gift vouchers and Y-receipts to customers
  • You will complete daily Service Walks to ensure you are maximising all opportunities of service and will be reactive to points identified to deliver the service strategy
  • Be able to implement the Deployment Plan and deploy staff effectively on the sales floor, using your initiative to ensure the sales floor runs smoothly and you are reactive to trade of the business
  • Be able to coach staff on store / company Best Sellers, new lines, fashion lines and where to place these on the sales floor
  • Understand an alternative replenishment process may be needed at times in line with the existing replenishment and be able select alternative replenishment from the stockroom when stock sells down

  • You are able to respond to feedback in a positive and professional way and support team members to do the same
  • You have the ability to deal with difficult customer or team situations in the correct way, ensuring the customer and team are always looked after
  • You demonstrate an ability to react quickly and efficiently to changing situations and deliver promptly

Operations - #getsh*tdone

  • Be able to coach staff on the layout of the stockrooms and on how to overstock and maintain standards in line with the Stockroom guidelines
  • Be able to train staff on how to process a delivery and to carry out any of the delivery roles
  • Drive the store productivity target
  • Effectively manage all process of transferring stock in and out in order to maintain an accurate stock file
  • Understand the profit protection expectations and be able to coach staff on profit protection expectations ensuring staff members are vigilant and ensuring adherence to these at all times
  • Be able to check staff compliance to profit protection expectations and procedures when requested by Management
  • Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures for Fire and Health & Safety at all times and can spot any potential risks and report them to management immediately. Coaching staff to do the same.
  • Ensure the team keep in line with company expectations and KPI’s, managing any team conversations when needed
