Retail Business and Operations Manager

Our client, an established supplier of niche market products within France, Germany and the UK through both the online and retail market place, are seeking to recruit a dynamic and "hands on" Business and Operations Manager with strong Retail experience to manage and drive their UK operation.

Reporting to the European Managing Directors, you will implement and deliver a business plan to successfully reach agreed sales and KPI targets and be responsible for the general management of the business and provide economic analysis to achieve the company’s ambitious growth plans.

As the Retail Business and Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

·The development of procedures and processes for Retail business operations

·Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives to increase efficiency

·Tracking, analysing and reporting daily, weekly and monthly KPI targets

·The management of staff including recruitment, training and appraisals and ensuring staff maintain motivated

·Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are complied with at all times

·A high level of HR responsibilities

·The investigations of Customer Satisfaction Levels and resolving any issues

Key attributes required:

·Good IT skills including Microsoft Office

·Experience within the Retail industry

·Excellent budgetary management skills

·Previous experience of implementing successful operations

·A 'hands on’ attitude

·Proven experience to meeting targets

·Fluent in French (desired but not essential)

The Retail Business and Operations Manager will be mainly based within the London store with a weekly visit to Alton, Hampshire, with some travel required to Germany and France to meet with the European Managing Directors (approximately 4 to 6 times a year). This is a full time position with a basic salary between £35,000 to £45,000 subject to experience plus a bonus scheme.
