Restaurant Manager -Kerry 5* HOTEL - Southern Ireland
We are currently recruiting for a polished, professional Restaurant Manager for this busy hotel establishment in the beautiful location. This Restaurant boasts breath-taking views and even more breath-taking food. It prides itself on delivering innovative and creative menus from locally sourced and seasonal produce.
This hotel needs hands on manager that will oversee the day to day operations of the restaurant and be the face to the place. This front facing role needs an outgoing person, friendly where professional customer care is to optimum levels. Have you the required experienced? Are you a polished individual? Main Duties of Role:
" Train, Motivate and supervise staff in food service within the Restaurant/in room dining.
" Evaluate performance, give guidance and discipline as necessary to produce a quality service product.
" Develop and maintain an excellent rapport with all employees and guests.
" Organize and conduct pre-shift meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff regarding menus, specials, beverages, VIP Guests etc.
" Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments on each shift.
" Interact positively with guests promoting hotel facilities and services.
" Resolve any problems to the satisfaction of involved parties.
" Coordinate and document reservations.
" Develop formal training and motivational programs in conjunction with other management.
" Interact with the chef regarding dining room / in room dining operation, timing, presentation and specifications.
" Organise staff rotas, in line with HR expectations and wage percentages.
" Bring new ideas, new concepts, and upselling to make it the restaurant of choice for guests.
" Previous Restaurant Management in a 5* or 4* de luxe hotel or award winning restaurant is essential for this role.
" Experience in a Large Seater restaurant 100+ covers managing a large team is preferred by the client
