A small luxury cruise ship based in Scotland are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager/ Food and Beverage Manager to join their team.
This is a rare opportunity to be a leading part of their hospitality team on board this prestigious and well recognised ship. With capacity for a maximum of fifty guests, this ship is run more like a country house than the standard cruise ship. Service is personal and warm and the ship holds an enviable reputation for fine food and wine.
As the Food and Beverage Manager you will be responsible for the service in both the restaurant and the public areas. You will be able to share your passion for food and wine with your guests in an intimate and relaxed setting while ensuring that the high standards of service are maintained.
The shift pattern offers an excellent work/life balance that a standard hotel or restaurant would not. You will work for 4 weeks and then have a full 2 weeks off. This is a seasonal position which runs from March until mid-November. There is the option to work over the winter months on board the docked ship or you can take the time off and return for the next season.
Single cabin accommodation and meals are provided while on board.
No experience working at sea is required however it is paramount that you have working in a high quality hotel and restaurant as you will be expected to hit the ground running.
Salary: Up to £27,000 pro rata
