My client, an award winning Hotel, Spa and Resort based on one of North Cornwall's most scenic beaches are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Host to join their Food and Beverage team. Primarily focused in their two-rosetted Restaurant, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service to each and every guest.
Their fine dining Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner as well as hosting events and weddings for up to 300 guests! Offering wonderful locally sourced food, it’s all about impeccable service and timings; maintaining the perfect balance of formal dining with a personal touch.
Prior to the guests’ arrival, you will ensure that all reservations and tables are coordinated for the service and that any specific requests are taken care of. You will be responsible for giving every guest a warm and personalised welcome on arrival, showing guests to their table and ensuring the correct menus for service are placed.
Key responsibilities will also include ensuring that pre-orders and bills are processed promptly and correctly for each guest, alongside cashing up and verifying sales at the end of each service.
This role will consist of 45 hours per week and predominantly cover the evening dinner service. So the shifts will always be straight shifts.
