Responsible Gambling Supervisor

bet365, one of the world’s leading online gambling companies, is looking for a Responsible Gambling Supervisor to oversee the Responsible Gambling team based in Gibraltar.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analysing information from a variety of sources in order to identify and prevent problem gambling within the bet365 customer base.

  • Making informed decisions regarding customer accounts, determining appropriate mitigation actions for any risk identified.

  • Preparing and completing customer interactions to discuss concerns of potential problem gambling with customers and to provide support to ensure that they are gambling responsibly.

  • Overseeing the day to day activities of the team, ensuring that all duties and tasks are completed in a timely manner and in line with regulatory requirements and internal processes.

  • Taking personal ownership of high risk cases ensuring these are dealt with appropriately whilst maintaining an excellent standard of customer service.

  • Developing team members and working to improve processes and procedures to benefit the company as a whole.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A keen eye for and excellent attention to detail.

  • Previous experience at supervisory/management level or graduate calibre potential.

  • A logical thought process and the ability to analyse information in order to reach considered decisions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior management, operational staff and customers.

  • The ability to provide oversight and direction to staff in the department, providing coaching and feedback in an effective manner.

  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills.

Previous experience working in a responsible gambling, customer service, risk, regulation, compliance or VIP liaison role would be advantageous. Experience of working within the sports and gambling industry would be desirable however is not essential.

The position is offered on a full time basis and will require a flexible approach to working hours working and 5 days from 7 including evening shifts.
