Resourcing Business Partner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resourcing Business Partner to join our client in Farnborough. In this role you will be responsible to drive our client's recruitment initiatives and proactive talent acquisition across the UK. You will also be responsible for implementing the organisation’s recruitment strategy so that the organisation attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives. You will also support the management of third-party agency agreements in collaboration with procurement teams. You will assist in the negotiation of agreement terms to ensure savings targets are met reducing recruitment costs.

About the Role and Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead recruitment service delivery with full flexibility to travel across the UK to support senior stakeholders, within a complex working environment with a diverse employee demographic
  • Work as part of the UK & I HR team to deliver a consistent recruitment approach across the Company
  • Evaluate the organization’s future workforce and make recommendations, assist in developing job descriptions and employee specifications, in conjunction with HR
  • Provide direct resourcing solutions to meet resourcing challenges for all business areas, with a desire to challenge and improve existing processes and procedures
  • Generate market mapping data and scope pipeline candidates for future needs
  • Maximize commercial opportunities to reduce recruitment expenditure in line with business area objectives
  • Manage internal (Recommend a Friend) and external recruitment campaigns and onboarding in partnership with HRBPs and managers
  • Ability to source candidates CVs for multiple concurrent positions using web-based sourcing/recruitment techniques
  • Schedule phone screenings and face to face interviews with qualified candidates as directed by Hiring Managers
  • Screen to offer stage conducting face to face interviews with line managers and HRBPs
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies for suitable candidate selection and progression onto shortlisting and arranging interviews
  • Send interview meeting notices to interviews using an Applicant Tracking System and send confirmation e-mails and appropriate paperwork to the interviewees
  • Support on various projects such as internships, apprenticeships and diversity strategies with HR, promoting the brand
  • Update the Applicant Tracking System on a daily basis based on candidates status, and send rejection letters and e-mails to unqualified candidates
  • Manage reference checking and ensure all documentation is sent to HR
  • Provide analytical and well documented reports of timeline deadlines to the rest of the team
  • Maintain accurate and complete candidate databases, update human resource software
  • Answer recruitment enquiries and emails
  • Conduct exit interviews and produce leaver analyses for HR to progress to senior management

About You:

  • Must be available to start asap or with a minimal notice period
  • Proven experience of working in a generalist recruitment role, building credibility and positive working relationships with line managers and HRBPs
  • Strong direct sourcing experience of Blue & White collar roles
  • Previous use of social media e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook
  • Preferably Level 4 Diploma in Recruitment Management (DipRM)
  • Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Proficient on Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access Database and HR Software
  • Up to date knowledge of current employment law/legislation and its practical application
  • Strong communication both verbal & written
  • Analytical thinking skills with ability to analyse statistical information
  • Must be willing to travel to various offices and depots throughout UK
