As Technical Manager for Resilience, you`ll support desk based Claims Advisers to manage their claims, to achieve an efficient outcome for customers.
Crucially, the successful applicant will take the lead in driving improvements in the team using their own experience, observations and audit findings.
Monitoring savings and ensuring a culture of mitigating claims spend
Deploying a continuous improvement approach, liaising with internal experts on process improvements
Providing monthly corrective action plans as a result of audit findings and file reviews
Tracking overall leakage results, being responsible for meeting targets
Receiving and making decisions on technical referrals
BDMA qualification is essential
Experience of conducting field visits to domestic properties including scoping and scheduling
Previous experience of managing claims using digital software
The ability to challenge restoration methods recommended by suppliers
Have obtained or be willing to work towards a professional qualification, e.g. Cert CILA
Experience dealing with larger, more complex property damage, with knowledge of drying technology and the key stages in a complex repair
The ability to take a neutral view and remain calm when the pressure is on
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
