Our client is looking for TWO experienced and passionate support workers to take on permanent roles in their homes for children and young people.

The client offers residential care, education and domiciliary care for children and young people with ‘complex emotional & behavioural' difficulties’ as well as learning difficulties'. We are looking for committed support workers who will work as part of a team to maintain high quality services and practices. The role will give you the ability to stretch your experience as a support worker and will be highly rewarding, with many benefits.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Complying to all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
• Ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
• Supervise and monitor standards of care and take appropriate action to improve standards when required
• Ensure all documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places

The ideal Support Worker will have:

• A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
• One year paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of professional boundaries
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.

Salary is competitive and there is a bonus of £78 PER NIGHT- IF ON A SLEEP.
