Residential Support Worker

We have an opportunity for a Residential Support Worker to join the team based in Nottingham on a full time permanent basis. You will receive a salary of £19,200 - £21,600 per annum (inclusive of a sleep in allowance).

Total Care Matters is a dedicated provider of residential care services for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties aged 8-17. Our four homes are situated in the East Midlands, and we pride ourselves on providing excellence in residential childcare. We are passionate about providing authentic care in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment from which the young people can fulfil their potential.

We currently have several exciting vacancies available in our beautiful Nottingham based children's homes where the (Senior) Residential Support Workers will be required to provide the highest quality care and therapeutic support to children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).

The Residential Support Worker duties and key responsibilities:

- Personal care and domestic duties

- Accompanying young people to school and supporting them during the day as part of the team, night time sleeping-in duties

- Supervise and support young people in accordance with their personal plans

Our ideal Residential Support Worker will have the below skills and experience:

- Be required to undergo an enhanced disclosure

- Possess previous experience of working with children and young people, either paid or voluntary

- Hold a full UK driving licence

This role would suit an experienced Care Support Worker or Children’s Services Support Worker.

The hours of work for this Residential Support Worker role will be based on shifts and may include sleep-in's and weekend work.

 We are also keen to recruit casual Support Workers on a bank basis. The hourly pay for this would be £8.00.
