Residential Support Worker - Full Time

£15.375 TO £17.072 per annum depending on experience. In addition to the stipulated annual salary, our client offers additional payments (up to £2000 per annum, see below) if the candidate is willing to undertake additional responsibilities and completes the relevant training.

247 Professional Health are looking to recruit passionate, flexible and motivated Support Workers to join a dynamic and expanding Children’s Charity within the Bolton area. Our successful client provides a unique range of services for adults and children with learning or physical disability.

Experience working within a care setting is desirable however; full training will be given to enhance knowledge and skills to ensure the best possible care is being delivered.

All successful candidates will have to complete a Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce.

Working with children and adults with a learning or physical disability can be a challenging but rewarding job whatever the role; it’s a job that requires enthusiasm, dedication, energy, and a sense of humor. Our client offers full time support worker contracts with a regular shift pattern set in advance. There is also a number of vacancies for night support workers, working 31.5 hours over three nights and weekend support workers (14.5 hours per week). All support workers are based in teams in one particular location, although on occasions staff may be asked to cover elsewhere.

Please note: Due to OFSTED regulations, you need to be at least 23 years old to apply for this position. This is in line with standard 17, paragraph 11, of the 'National Minimum Standards for Children’s Homes’
