An exciting opportunity has arisen for Residential Support Workers to join Crisis Intervention services for young people across Cumbria.

As the Residential Support Worker, you will support your team in providing the best care for the Young People. Your other duties would include working 1-1 with the young people, report writing, observations, supporting with care plans, engaging the Young People on weekly activities and managing challenging behaviours. You will ensure that all aspects of a young person`s physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs are met as individuals and within the setting, actively assisting each young person towards achieving a realistic level of success in their targets and goals during placement and beyond.

The successful candidate must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare or at least 2 years` experience within a children`s residential setting a full UK Driving Licence and hold experience of facilitating supervisions and completing rota`s.

This is a full-time position with a salary of up to £26,000 inclusive of sleeps, your working pattern will be 2 on 4 off. In return for your hard work there is opportunity for progression within the company, holiday entitlement, pension schemes and assured health care plans.
