An ambitious and driven paralegal is required to join a specialist residential property firm in central Leeds or Hull. The firm very much develops paralegals from within the firm and interestingly many of the firm's most experienced fee earners have developed and progressed from junior conveyancing roles within the practice.
Established in 2000 our client has developed and is now one of the UK's largest specialist conveyancers. Since the firms formation they have completed over 1 million transactions and have developed an impressive client list including seven of the ten largest lenders in the UK and a high calibre of estate agency brands.
Your role will be varied and you will manage a variety of conveyancing duties within the sales and purchase team
The role will include chasing various information such as searches, mortgage offers and third parties for updates and replied to enquiries. You will also be required to draft legal documents such as Certificates of Title, post exchange letters and property reports
You will also help with the exchange of contracts and completion matters
Minimum of six months residential conveyancing experience in sales and purchase
This is a very client focused role and so it is essential you have strong telephone and customer service skills
It is essential you have the ability to meet tight deadlines and targets whilst also working well and to a high a standard
You should be comfortable working within a volume environment and using a case management system
Central Leeds location close to public transport links
