Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire (option to work from Salisbury office)

Salary: From £40,000 + 30% bonus on billed and paid fees above target

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

The Opportunity

A highly regarded regional law firm with offices in Chippenham and Salisbury is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its expanding property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a capable conveyancing professional to take ownership of a varied caseload in a supportive, client-focused environment, where the emphasis is on quality rather than volume. The Role

As a key member of the conveyancing department, you will:

• Manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handle a wide range of transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Provide a personal and proactive client experience, maintaining regular contact and building lasting relationships.
• Work closely with colleagues across the firm to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
• Contribute to the firm’s ongoing growth and success through professionalism and initiative.

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

• A Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with solid residential conveyancing experience.
• Confident in handling files independently with minimal supervision.
• Client-focused, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Motivated to contribute to a firm that values continuous improvement and professional growth.
