The Company

Brewster Partners Charity and Not for Profit are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager of a children's home for our client based Leicester. This is a modern business, who have just opened a brand new service. Our client is registered with Ofsted. All homes are rated at least Good.

The Role

This is an exciting new opportunity to join a brand new home from day one, and have a key input into how you think the service should be run, and have the chance to progress within the organisation.

As the Registered Manager of this service you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the registered home and to manage your team. You will have responsibility for; ensuring best practice is promoted and implemented and that relevant quality standards are maintained at all times.

This role will be based Monday - Friday, with some on call when required.

You will also be responsible for the deployment and control of staff on a day-to-day basis, including reporting of issues of performance to line management. As well as being involved in the recruitment, monitoring, training, retention and mentoring as necessary.

You will also be required to make strong working arrangements with all stakeholders, and form good relationships with commissioners and local authorities.

The Candidate

The successful person will have Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or be willing to work towards this.

As well as having experience of working successfully with children displaying challenging social, emotional and behavioural problems. You will be warm and empathetic, as well as having strong leadership and management skills.
