Residential Childcare Team Leader

Location: Lytham St Annes

Hourly rate: £9.50 – £10.94

Full Time - Averaging 35 Hours per week

Sleep in Allowance: £40 per night

Our client provides residential care for children and young people and are looking to recruit committed individuals to join their growing team.

About the Residential Childcare Team Leader:

You will provide day to day care, direction and support to young people who may display challenging and disruptive behaviours, emotional and social difficulties. Working within a supportive therapeutic environment you will be part of a team dedicated to caring for young people with compassion and a commitment to positive relationships.

The post holder may be reasonably expected to undertake other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility and experience.

Requirements of the Residential Childcare Team Leader:

  • Minimum 2 years or more of experience working within a residential setting.
  • Diploma level 3 (Children and young people workforce) or equivalent.
  • Ability to interact with a range of people/young people.
  • Ability to lead a team and to work as part of a team.
  • To be able to provide consistency of care and support to the young people.
  • Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour.
  • Sleeping in duties and shift work, including evenings and weekends on a rota system.
  • Full Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
