The home is set in a rural location close to local public transport to the local town, this is a 10 minute drive or 60minute walk into Goole’s town centre where you can find lots of services within the community.

We offer the full funding package for you to progress within the role for the future completing a NVQ3 in children and young people, we provide excellent training before you start and will be supported and welcomed by the team working five shifts shadowing an experienced RCW or Team Leader, this will give you a great life working with the Cambian Group

Example of shifts
One on two off basis
8am-10.30pm and incurs a sleep 1.5hour handover the next morning
Hold a valid driving license

Types of skills required and duties to accept
These can be varied but they are all centred on the young people and it can include;
- Providing encouragement and prompting in day to day duties
- Care plans and documentation completed and updated
- Transportation (Use of Company car)
- Meal planning
- Organising social activities (Trips out)
- Maintaining the home (cleaning, laundry and shopping etc)
- To be flexible
- Hands on professional role model
- Good communication and listening skills
- Adaptable and able to read situation and help our young people make positive choices
- Support the staff and children within your care
- Effective leadership skills
- Resilience and passion to make a difference
Requirements for DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice.
