Champneys is a destination health spa chain with resorts and day spas located in the English counties of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Leicestershire, Kent and Hampshire.
As a Reservations Consultant you will welcome our customers at the beginning of their journey with us, ensuring a great first impression. You will be obtaining optimum occupancy and profit for the business, processing enquiries, advanced room and day reservations and affiliated tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties for the role will include;
• Answering telephone, dealing with customers enquiries, converting enquiries into bookings using appropriate customer service and sales techniques. • Entering brochure requests onto computer system • Taking reservations, entering directly onto computer system • Selling gift vouchers, ensuring correct details are taken • Packing up and sending out confirmations • Banking, reconciling credit card payments and cheques (only done at the end of the day i.e. evening shift) • Dealing with the post, posting cheques and agency vouchers onto the system • Printing off e-mail enquiries and actioning • Assisting supervisors with any tasks as required
Good level of Education, to include English and Maths.
Minimum of 1 years contact centre experience.
• Pleasant telephone manner • Confident with computer work • Ability to work as part as a team • Ability to work well under pressure • Self motivated • Ability to deal with difficult clients, handling complaint calls efficiently
Knowledge and Understanding
Competent in computer packages including Outlook, word and exel.
Resort Suite experience beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
