12 month Fixed Term Contract (maternity cover)
We're working exclusively with an industry leading antibody technology company who are looking to bring on board an experienced Research Scientist to design, develop & run in vitro primary cell based assays, to support the understanding of their antibody therapeutics in immuno-oncology.
The role will be based at their state of the art facility in Cambridge and working within their immuno-oncology group - working alongside project leaders, group leaders, senior management & providing guidance to junior members of staff.
Design, develop & run in vitro primary cell based assays
Provide technical guidance & support to junior colleagues in assay development
Deliver & report on scientific data & report issues/findings
Maintain lab notebooks to GLP/SOP standards for reg/patent filings & publications
Ensure all Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to
Extensive experience in multi-colour flow cytometry
Extensive experience in call-based assays, ideally T-Cell proliferation, MLR etc.
Experience in working with human blood samples (HepB vaccination essential)
PhD in a relevant subject area e.g. Immunology, tumour biology - OR BSc/MSc with significant transferable experience
