Your new company is a nationwide, well-established, market leader within their field. They have an exciting opportunity to join the business as a Research & Insight Consultant. It is a 12 month fixed term contract, based in Cardiff with some agile working and some travel to other offices.
Your new role
In your new role as Research & Insight Consultant you will be focused on leading digital customer research, supporting digital development and enabling effective and optimised user experiences. This role will work closely with the Group Digital function, partnering with the team to support & deliver consumer and client insights to shape and inform their projects. Projects will range from early stage concept testing, through to wireframe reviews and evaluation of beta versions, as well as in-market evaluation and competitor benchmarking. You will also be required to lead the formal procurement and due diligence process of on-boarding digital research agencies
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed as a Research & Insight Consultant you must have strong & proven market research experience and be adept at storytelling with insights.
Key skills will include:
*Proven experience of tendering, commissioning & delivering primary and secondary research projects; ability to identify and negotiate the best solution required to meet project objectives, with strong project management skills to ensure timely and effective delivery
*Excellent story-telling abilities; strength in synergising multiple research sources and market intelligence to logically & concisely detail insights, with resulting business decisions and opportunities clearly signposted *Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research approaches, with proven experience of efficiently utilising these to deliver cost-effective business benefits
*Experience of working with multiple stakeholders with varying degrees of insight experience, knowledge and requirements: Must be able to translate insights for different audience needs
*Strong presentation skills and relationship building abilities; confidence to proactively lead and consult within meetings and workshops, challenging when necessary and proactively ensuring the voice of the customer/client is accurately and fairly represented
