Research Associate - Assay Development

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate to join a dynamic assay development team. The role will involve working closely with the scientists, and other team members, to design and execute a diverse range of experiments. The successful candidates will gain excellent training and exposure to a highly regulated GLP/ GMP biopharmaceutical work environment.

The Company

My client is a Cambridgeshire biopharmaceutical company who are leaders in their novel area of immune-oncology research.

Desired Skills/ Experience:

  • Applicants must hold at least a BSc in a relevant life science subject
  • Hands on experience with a range of in vitro assay development techniques is essential
  • Proficiency in several of the following techniques; immunoassays, cell biology, flow cytometry, cell culture, purification of immune cells, in vitro technique
  • Excellent communication and ability to work unsupervised when required
