Position: Design and Insights Team Assistant
Duration: asap for 6 months
Working for a leading global search engine who currently have cool and creative offices in central London.
As a Research Assistant you'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our product team to ensure we are building the best products for our users.
-Partner with other researchers, designers, product managers, engineers in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
-Preparing user research activities: planning and scheduling study sessions, liaising with our partners at hospitals
-Building out our participant pool: recruiting nurses, doctors, healthcare assistants and other users to be part of our panel that we use for regular studies
-Moderating, observing, and note-taking for usability testing sessions and interviews
-Administering questionnaires, surveys, and interviews, and conducting literature reviews
-Analyze data and effectively communicate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
-Planning and conducting shadowing and interviewing in hospitals
-Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills -- including the ability to distill findings into concise insights
-Can work independently and prioritize time between multiple projects, and be flexible by adapting to changing schedules and different projects.
-Understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase
-Highly organized, with excellent administrative, project management and coordination skills
-Academic background in Human Factors, Social Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Product Design, or other field emphasizing human behavior; or in lieu of degree, some related work experience.
-Experience conducting user research in the healthcare domain or other digital products
