Our client is a highly reputable University based in Central London. Due to an increase in project work flow, there is now a need for a dynamic Reprographics and Postroom Coordinator to join this already successful team.
As the Reprographics and Postroom Coordinator you will be responsible for providing a high quality, timely and customer focused reprographics service for the University staff, students and other customers as required.
Furthermore, you will be required to undertake post room duties according to a rota, including sorting and delivery of incoming mail, preparation of out-going mail to deadlines for collection, utilising franking machines, scales etc. and ensuring information on postal rates is kept up-to-date.
With facilities tasks also playing a key part in this role, you will also be required to:
Prepare teaching rooms on a daily basis to required layout by moving desks, chairs and any other furniture and ensuring all appropriate teaching materials are in place.
Raise call outs through CAFM and act as an onsite contact for all contractors, ensuring Health and Safety procedures are adhered to as stated in agreed contracts and job specific RAMS.
To monitor Facilities Helpdesk calls and respond accordingly.
To undertake general porterage and cleaning duties as required.
To complete any printing requests that are sent through by staff.
To liaise with Students Services and other course leaders in organising the handing out of courses materials to students during the induction periods.
To operate the photocopying machinery/equipment in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
To manage external contractors when on site; e.g. reviewing RAMS, issuing relevant permit to work, carrying out site inductions and overseeing remedial maintenance repairs.
To liaise with the Student Office Manager to ensure required level of materials are ordered and delivered in time.
To assist with the distribution of books during induction and the delivery of assessment materials to external venues.
To deputise for the team leader during their absence
To report faults of machinery and equipment used for reprographic work to IT Department.
To be responsible for the safe storage of equipment and materials and the disposal of waste products in accordance with the relevant regulations, guidelines and school procedures.
