Financial Planning & Analysis role Wakefield
A commercially run charitable organisation who are setting up a centre of excellence in the Wakefield area ( just off junction 41)
The role of Planning & Reporting analyst takes responsibility for all group internal reporting, planning, forecasting, budgeting and three year plan requirements - delivering reporting packs including relevant KPI's, related financial metrics and dashboards with insightful value added commentary for the Leadership Team and Trustees. Working closely with finance colleagues to understand and interpret financial performance of the business in order to support best practice effective decision-making by the Leadership team and to provide appropriate challenge to business units in their planning and forecasting.
The successful candidate will be a finalist level or fully qualified accountant with experience in a commercial finance / decision support or group reporting role, dealing with multi entity and multi currencies, experience of management reporting and planning systems / consolidation reporting tool experience, ability to work under pressure and stick to tight deadlines, be self motivated and able to plan and time manage with conflicting priorities, able to liaise with all levels of senior management, numerate and able to produce timely, error free reports, intermediate/advanced excel skills, data analysis and interpretation, problem solving skills
