MB Fitzgerald are currently working with a well-established firm of Financial Advisers in Sheffield who are part of one of the UK's fasting growing Financial Services groups. An experienced member of staff, who had been happily working with the company for many years, has recently left the business for a new challenge and so they are looking for a replacement. They are a friendly business with a low staff- turnover that are looking for a long-term appointment who can progress within the role and the company.
The role is a 'Drawdown & SIPP Report Writer/ Administrator". As the title suggests, the main part of the role will be report writing, mainly in relation to Pension Drawdown advice which is a very busy area of business for this company. This will include instructing drawdown disinvestments, payments and back-office administration in relation to the role, although there is administrative support in place for the more basic/ menial tasks. Although the role will involve some technical elements, the company's underlying investment proposition is already in place so there will not be any fund picking or investment analysis required.
As this role will be replacing an experienced candidate, it is essential that we find somebody who has the knowledge and experience to be able to 'hit the ground running'. Because of this, the successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of Pension Drawdown and SIPP's. You should also have experience writing suitability reports for clients. Candidates who have progressed with Diploma Qualifications will be preferred although this is not essential.
