Remote Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node/React/TypeScript)

Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a Technology Company whose development team is embedded in one of the largest online games companies in the world. Backed by angel investors from big tech and gaming backgrounds who believe in their mission, our client is now seeking a Remote Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong back-end focus to join their growing team.

The Role

You'll be working on a cutting-edge web application, collaborating directly with a small, high-impact team of developers from renowned gaming companies.

Location

• Remote first
• Candidates must be willing to attend workshops and company meetings in London
• Most of the development team attend the office once or twice per month

Technology Stack

• React (Next.js & Remix)
• TypeScript
• Node.js
• AWS, Cloudflare, Kubernetes
• Databases: DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB

Key Requirements

• Demonstrable knowledge and solid experience of building web applications on a large codebase
• Strong backend development skills
• Ability to keep applications performant, well-designed, tested, and secure
• Experience working with and designing/building APIs
• Good understanding of different database technologies, both relational and non-relational
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with Agile methodologies

Desirable Skills

• Active engagement with code reviews, pair programming, and discussing ideas and solutions
• Infrastructure-as-code experience and Kubernetes knowledge

Interview Process

1. Initial 45-60-minute Teams call
2. Online Technical session (pair programming, coding test, or code review)
3. Possible discussion with HR or investors

Pay & Benefits

• Salary range: £70,000 - £85,000
• 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
