An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Integrated Health & Social Care Team to provide support for people who wish to remain at home.

You will work with other members of the team to provide Health & Social Care support to individuals who have been assessed as requiring support from a lead professional. This post is based within the North Skye & Raasay Integrated Team and you will work across the whole area as the service requires. You will be required to work on a rota which is a 4 on 4 off rota which will include weekends and working hours outside of office hours, there will also be an on call commitment and overnight stays.

This support will vary according to individual need but is likely to include personal care, medication prompts, non-complex basic nursing need for example; blood pressure recording , skin care, simple wound dressing, supporting prescribed programmes to promote independence, falls prevention assessments.

Experience is desirable but not essential for this role as you will receive training and gain experience within this role. This is a highly rewarding role and it will be challenging at times so it is important that you have a caring and empathetic manner. There are good opportunities for development within this role and also an opportunity to undertake a recognized qualification at SVQ3.

A full driving licence is an essential requirement of the post.
