Are you a teacher of Religious Education looking for an exciting opportunity to work in Solihull Birmingham in a thriving, dynamic and friendly secondary school. The school is looking to employ an RE teacher who is able to deliver their subject with a passion at KS3 and 4 and be part of an excellent Humanities Department.
The RE department is a well-respected department and teachers have a wealth of experience. You will be under the direction of the head of Religious Education and responsible for teaching KS3 & KS4 as well as GCSE Religious Education. Lessons are well resourced and a dedicated teaching assistant allows for lessons to be interactive as well as engaging for all. Developments in the curriculum have allowed teachers to progress students and provide lessons that stimulate and excite. Teachers have access to and are able to use ICT suites to deliver interactive multimedia lessons and students are able to use these facilities to complete work in and out of lesson time.
The head of RE is now looking for a teacher of RE to join the team. The successful teacher must have experience of teaching RE to KS3 and 4, the ability to teach at KS5 would be desirable but not essential. The school is looking to appoint a dynamic and motivated teacher who has experience of delivering outstanding lessons and a record of developing student achievement. This role would suit an experienced teacher or an NQT looking for their first teaching position. For all staff an extensive CPD programme is offered, NQTs will be supported throughout their induction year and training is offered weekly to ensure successful completion and rapid progression into their teaching career. * Have relevant specialist qualifications and experience in your subject specialism with the ability to teach at all Key Stages and all abilities
