We are seeking to recruit Relief Support Workers to join our friendly team to deliver outstanding care for the people Mencap support.

We are providing support to 4 unique ladies who have profound learning disabilities. This a FEMALE ONLY Relief Support Worker role; supporting these lovely ladies with day to day tasks such as; shopping,cooking, eating and drinking, personal care, laundry, finances, medication and administration. You will also support them in social activities and accessing the community, to socialise and for leisure, as well as to attend health appointments.

The role of a support worker can be very challenging, so we are looking for people who are patient, trustworthy and observant, with a great sense of humour, and a real commitment to the people they care for.

Being a support worker isn't just about making the day to day life easier, it's about improving the lives of these inspiring individuals, so they can live the life that they choose and certainly deserve. Helping the people we support achieve their goals is one of the most rewarding parts of being a support worker.

Support work is required 24 hours a day, so you must be willing to work flexibly as and when required. Cover is required throughout the week, weekends and bank holidays, with sleep-ins and waking nights as well.
