Relief Project Worker, Lancaster

Langley House Trust has an opportunity for a Relief Project Worker to join our team based in Lancaster on a part time, permanent basis (working flexible as and when required). We are offering the successful candidate a salary of £7.50 an hour.

As the Relief Project Worker you will assist in the delivery of a stable and effective programme by the efficient delivery of the day-to-day service; within set budgets and to the agreed levels of quality as defined within the Langley House Trust Business Plan, Quality Assurance Strategy and Key Performance Indicators and in particular to support Service Users to achieve the aims laid out in their Care/Support Plan.

As our Relief Project Worker you will need to be:

- Familiar with computer packages including Word, Excel, email and allied computer skills

- Literate to write letters and reports& numerate to complete statistical returns

- Able to work in a challenging and demanding environment

- Familiar with computer packages including Word, Excel, email and allied computer skills

- Able to deal discretely with delicate matters

- Fully supportive of equal opportunities for all

- Flexible attitude to rapid changes in task

- Able to work unsocial hours including nights, weekends and public holidays

- Willing to undertake a DBS check which must be satisfactory to the Trust

Our Lancaster project is a small project focussing on the care of individuals. We are a small and friendly team and you would be supported by the management team at the project and have an appropriate induction so you can feel confident in adjusting to a new role, which will include shadowing staff.
