A vacancy has arisen within the Medical Secretarial Department at University Hospital Crosshouse.
Flexible and enthusiastic you will provide a comprehensive medical secretarial service to various services based at University Hospital Crosshouse. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Primary duties will include audio/digital dictation transcription of clinic discharge and miscellaneous letters maintaining and updating computerised waiting lists dealing with telephone enquiries from patients relatives GP's and other external and internal agencies.
You should have a relevant secretarial qualification e.g. AMSPAR Diploma for Medical Secretaries RSA or SCOTVEC qualification. Medical terminology is essential for this post.
Hours of duty: 37.50 per week
This is a fixed term / secondment opportunity until 31 December 2018.
