Our client, a leading well established e-commerce company, is now hiring a Release Manager.
The successful candidate will be overseeing the Release Management lifecycle which will include scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios.
The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, Projects and Programmes. Where necessary, tools and services will be provided to help product management and project teams manage and deploy releases into production.
You will work collaboratively with Heads of Delivery and Project Managers to develop and maintain a release schedule that supports the development lifecycle and code versions across development, test, pre-production and production.
The individual needs to be a self-motivated and be able to organise their work with a minimum of oversight. You must be comfortable working in a fast paced delivery environment with competing priorities.
The candidate must have experience of release management and associated tools, methodologies and approaches.
- Extensive experience of release management/ implementation management
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Proven stakeholder and key relationship management skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to co-ordinate cross functional work teams
