Release Manager

We are currently looking for an IT release manager to lead the end to end configuration and release stages of the software development lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative IT team, with a real focus on technology in our flagship Manchester office.

You will be responsible for owning and maintaining the release and change process, including managing the deployment of releases, ensuring change is prepared and delivered in a controlled manner and ensuring all support is in place for successful delivery. You will also be required to lead on the implementation and training of the process and leading release meetings and retrospectives alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team of IT professionals.

We are looking for someone with experience in the software development lifecycle, ideally in a release role. You must be driven, have effective planning and organisation skills and the ability to cope well under pressure in a fast paced role. The successful applicant will be tenacious, flexible, a great communicator and decision maker and have strong analytical skills.
