Relationship Manager - Business Banking
Do you want to work for one of the UK's biggest Fund Managers and work closely with local businesses to support their growth and development?
This is an ideal role for a Relationship Manager from a Corporate or Business Banking background, seeking more autonomy in their decision making and a closer relationship with their clients.
In a role offering hybrid working, an allowance for creation of a home office and car, excellent benefits, bonus structure, you will support and develop the local business community, via long term funding provisions.
You will be responsible for sourcing and appraising applications for bonds, loans and mezzanine loans and supporting your clients through the application process and term of the funding provided.
You will maintain and develop technical and industry-specific knowledge to ensure best practices and compliance in investment activity
You will be responsible for thorough and robust management, financial and commercial due diligence when considering investment opportunities and assess the risks attendant to each investment.
From assessing applications for loans and preparing reports recommending investments to fund to providing post investment support you will be the primary Relationship Manager for your clients.
Other responsibilities include developing and maintaining links and networks with key business introducers and intermediaries to source suitable investment opportunities
It is anticipated that the successful individual will have a background in commercial or business banking, hold, or be prepared to study for, a banking qualification and have knowledge of the SME and OMB market in the North East, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear area.
