Relationship Director

A high growth, challenger bank which started 6 years ago in Manchester is looking to bring in a commercial Relationship Director who has had strong exposure to cashflow and building a solution for high worth deals within asset based lending.

Client Details

A challenger bank based in Manchester, my client offers both personal and business finance solutions ranging from loans through to asset based lending.


As Relationship Director for this bank you will be responsible for:

  • Selling ABL solutions to businesses in the North, with deal sizes averaging around £1M
  • Managing the in touch networks and maximising revenue through these channels
  • Understanding cashflow of a business and how ABL could benefit them
  • Offering new solutions to improve the banks offering
  • Leading from the front and setting best practice


The successful Relationship Director will have:

  • A background in accountancy, corporate finance or ABL from a sales perspective
  • Strong resilience and confidence in their own ability
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in presenting a solution
  • Strong understanding of cashflow and covenants
  • A team focus and be comfortable proposing new solutions to improve the offering

Job Offer

£70,000 - £80,000 plus OTE £110,000
