An opportunity to join the regulatory affairs team at a global chemical products company; you will join a friendly and experienced team who manage the compliance and registrations for a diverse portfolio of products for a global markets. They will provide ongoing training and support making this an excellent career move. You will gain exposure to regulations including biocides (BPD), chemicals (CLP, GHS and REACH), detergents and cosmetics.
Duties will be varied and will include regulatory reviews, raw material support, notifications, labelling, registrations, hazard communication, regulatory support and product registrations. The managers have an excellent track record of training people so you can be sure you will be able to learn, build on your experience and develop new skills.
We are looking for a science graduate with approximately 6 months to 2 years’ experience in regulatory affairs of any chemical products; alternatively, you may be in a technical/laboratory role with some SDS writing or labelling experience and be interested in moving into regulatory affairs. You will be working with biocides, detergents, consumer chemicals and cosmetics - so some experience in any of these sectors would be ideal. It is likely you will have CLP knowledge and understand the principles of hazard classification of chemicals. You must be keen to learn, genuinely enthused by regulations, a confident communicator, and able to fit into a team environment.
