Regulatory Excel Developer
Change Recruitment currently have an excellent contract opportunity for an Excel Developer to work within a Regulatory Reporting environment with the focus of developing and enhancing the excel / database solution for regulatory rule changes.
This is an initial 6 month contract role, but will have scope to work on further harmonisation projects and new regulatory changes.
You will work as part of an experienced finance team and specifically within a centralised Regulatory Reporting team - the team have specific responsibility for delivering external reporting i.e. COREP, Basel III and Pillar 3, additionally complete impact assessments of regulatory rule changes through quantitative impact studies.
You will also play a key part in the ongoing development of excel models and database solutions that will provide the capacity to deliver robust and repeatable assessments on the impact of future regulatory changes. Fully plan and document design, implementation and reconcile data back to source.
The role will require Advanced/Expert MS Excel and database systems skills. It may be advantageous to be a qualified Accountant with a knowledge of Regulatory Capital, however it's not essential.
Day rate: £350-370 a day
Having a background of working with stakeholders at varying levels and across multiple functions i.e. IT, Risk & Finance
