You should be dynamic, responsive and adaptable to the changing needs of healthcare and be committed to ongoing professional development. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and clinical skills as well as the ability to work in partnership with an experienced multidisciplinary team to promote forward planning and deliver a person centred approach to discharge planning.
You will be supported by a Senior Charge Nurse and 2 dedicated Charge Nurses who will all strive to facilitate your learning. The medical floor offers weekly education on a variety of differing topics, that you have the opportunity to attend. Further opportunities to advance your technical skills would be available, such as ECG recording, Cannulation and Venepuncture.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register
