Clinician – Primary Care & Travel Health (Oxford)

Location: Oxford
Schedule: 4–5 weekdays + Saturday mornings

Are you an experienced clinician with a passion for patient care and an interest in commercial healthcare? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join our Oxford team, delivering high-quality primary care and travel health services in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-travel health risk assessments for patients based on destination, itinerary, and medical history.
  • Administer and document travel vaccinations under Patient Group Directions (PGDs).
  • Provide tailored health advice on disease prevention, malaria prophylaxis, and safe travel practices.
  • Deliver routine nursing care and immunisations for other primary care patients.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance standards and maintain accurate records.
  • Keep up-to-date with travel health guidelines and general practice protocols through ongoing professional development.

Key Requirements

  • Primary care experience is essential.
  • Strong background in travel vaccinations is highly desirable.
  • Genuine interest in developing within a commercial healthcare setting.
  • Awareness of the commercial aspects of medicine—while patient outcomes remain the priority, you’re comfortable contributing in an environment where business performance is also important.

What We Offer

  • Starting salary: £40,000, with progression to £50,000 (timescales to be confirmed).
  • Commission structure: Earn additional income based on individual patient spend once thresholds are met (details provided at interview).

This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who want to combine patient care with a commercially aware approach, in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
