Scotia Heights is our new, pupose built unit caring for young adults with mental health needs, offering a real home from home environment. Your days will be varied, but your focus will be on delivering hands-on person centred care
- Assessing care needs
- Putting together care plans and reviewing them as and when necessary
- Supervising the care team to ensure that the shift runs smoothly and efficiently
- Promoting choice, independence, dignity and respect
- Administering, reviewing and monitoring medications
You will be a first level nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a current PIN, passionate about what you do. You will be well organised, be able work on your own initiative and make decisions whilst working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You should be up to date with current evidence based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations.
