A little about us…
Highfield House is a CQC rated OUTSTANDING Complex Care Centre based in the heart of Purley. We are currently recruiting excellent Nurses.
Our home is a 45 bed purpose-built centre providing specialist care to young adults with a range of complex conditions. These can range from neurological to spinal conditions.
A little about the role…
Due to expansion you will join a multi-disciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, activity co-ordinators, senior health care assistants and rehabilitation staff who work together to support young adults, ensuring their care is truly person centred.
Nurses are a valued and critical part of our team, as one you are required to manage a team of specialist staff, and provide outstanding medical care, to the highest possible standard for our residents and learn competencies in trachea and ventilator care.
You will be required to participate in social activities for residents and maintain a respectful, non-judgemental and caring attitude.
We expect our staff to deliver the highest standard of care to our residents and we offer our staff a comprehensive and full training package, so previous experience in care homes is desirable but not essential, however a committed and keen attitude is vital.
A little about the hours…
We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, so the role will consist of shift rotations.
These are from 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am, over days, nights and some weekends, with consideration to your personal commitments.
We request a minimum of 3 shifts per week for full time.
Part time and bank applications will be considered, however you will need to be available for our induction training which is over a three week period and consisted of classroom days. The classroom days are from 9am to 5pm and occur over two days within a week and can be any day within Monday to Friday.
