We treat a wide range of mental health problems and addictions in our mixed acute ward, with a view to moving patients on to the least restrictive setting possible. Our low secure wing helps men with an autistic spectrum condition, as well as other complex mental health problems, while our open rehabilitation ward is for those stepping down from more secure mental health care settings. As part of our commitment to diagnosis and care, our Diagnostic Assessment Clinic provides a comprehensive assessment for adults who present with suspected features of an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
We are looking for a dynamic RMN to work within our low secure unit. You’ll be organised and compassionate and have a determined focus on patient recovery. You’ll monitor, manage and reduce risk while helping to prepare service users for independent living. Experienced in working in mental health, you’ll work with our skilled teams helping patients with a range of issues such as autistic spectrum disorder, personality disorder and those who are recovering from substance misuse.
In return you’ll be given training and tailored professional development opportunities. You’ll also receive excellent staff benefits. Cygnet Healthcare has a clear nursing strategy which has been developed by front line staff. Our clinical care is underpinned by strong values and we have a commitment to reducing restrictive practice.
