We currently have a vacancy for Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to work with adults presenting addition and eating disorders in Paisley, Renfrew, Carnthyne,Glasgow and the surrounding local areas through our Glasgow branch.The Nursing Role
As a Newcross Nurse you will be providing support to adults with varying severities of mental illnesses, you will be confident in your ability to work calmly and professionally with our clients who may exhibit challenging or difficult behaviours. You will take pride in ensuring the highest quality of personalised care is delivered to every individual in your care, championing their unique needs and promoting their wellbeing. You will take pride in your person-centred approach, whether you're working with the individual or contributing to a wider MDT discussion.
You will be working closely with patients who can be anxious or confused so a calm approach is vital to establish rapport. Another important aspect of this role is providing support for family and friends of the person who play a key part in their life. It is essential that you are dedicated to promoting the well-being and quality of life of each individual you care for. This means recognising the capabilities of each person, championing their needs and seeing them as more than a care plan.
We can offer you flexible hours that fit around your other commitments, with support from a local line manager and our clinical excellence team who will assist you through Revalidation.
