Their first home opened in the 1980's in Cheltenham and they now have 4 others spaced around Gloucestershire and Tewkesbury. Where?

This role is based in Cheltenham for a family owned care provider, who currently have 5 care homes throughout Gloucestershire and Tewkesbury. The role will be based in their stunning 26-bed elderly care home on the outskirts of Cheltenham, with picturesque views of Leckhampton Hill and the surrounding countryside.

The role

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the home and will be expected to use your skills and knowledge, whilst working closely with the Directors, to drive the business forward focusing on key metrics, like occupancy, agency use and overall CQC rating. As the registered manager, you will be working closely with the care team, ensuring they're confident and proficient in their roles as care professionals. You will have excellent people skills and be able to liaise with both clients and their family members, ensuring a comfortable and re-assuring atmosphere for all.

What you get in return

In return for your full commitment to the role, you will receive an annual salary of between £40,000 and £50,000, depending on your experience, as well as a generous benefits package. You will be joining an established team with decades of experience in the social care sector, giving you the support and guidance you need to succeed in your role. This role offers the right manager autonomy to showcase their experience and knowledge, whilst ensuring the needs of the residents are always put first, giving you the opportunity to progress your career as a successful home manager.
