We have an exciting opportunities for a Registered Children's Home Manager
Organisation 1 5 bed Childrens home supporting 8-18 year olds with LD and Complex needs.
This is not only a position of Registered Manager but once the home is set up and running smoothly you will become Operations Manager and work with the Owners to set up a second home with 6 beds. This is a unique opening for the right person who will grow with the Organisation.
Organisation 2 Transition Home Manager to work in 4 apartments ages 16-18 specialising with EBD and Challenging Behaviours and complex needs.
Organisation 3 3 Bed Childrens Home supporting 8-18s with EBD and complex needs.

Registered Children’s Home Manager will :-
Manage the staff and resources of the Homes, to provide a positive living experience for the resident young people
Oversee the induction of new employees
Monitor and review the work practices of all staff in their day-to-day work with the young people, parents, Social Workers, other agencies and the public and those they encounter on outreach work
Attend training opportunities as required
Registered Children’s Home Manager must have:-
At least 2 years’ experience in operational & service at a residential setting with minimum "Good" rating.
Experience of working with children with LD and complex needs in a in a residential setting or SEMH and EBD in a residential setting.
Experience of facilitating, organising and directing & developing teams
Experience of using childcare Standards & best practice model to guide decision making
Experience of translating policy into practice
Knowledge of Management theories
Management training & experience
Child related/Social care qualifications
Knowledge of Equal opportunities & diversity models
Up to date knowledge of Childcare & Child Protection Laws
Basic knowledge of IT
NVQ 5 Leadership and management
Full knowledge of OFSTED requirements
Satisfactory DBS check
