This well respected, nationwide children's care provider are seeking to appoint a registered manager to run an EBSD residential unit in the Goole area.
Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team of 15 staff, ensuring that the individual needs of the children and CQC fundamentals are met, the organisation's mission statement and values are upheld and aims and objectives are achieved. If you have the drive and determination to provide outstanding care whilst supporting and effectively managing your team of staff, this role will give you challenge and progression routes. You will be responsible for ensuring the individual needs of each service user are met, updating and implementing care plans across the service. You will manage a team of staff, planning rotas and giving supervision to all members. You will promote strong and open communication and identify ways to improve the service to best meet the needs of the service and its users.
What you'll need to succeed
NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Children)
Be qualified or working towards Level 5 Leadership and Management
Childcare legislation and Safeguarding knowledge.
Understanding needs of EBSD Children.
Ability to manage challenging behaviour- 2 years recent experience working at a senior level with children in a residential care setting.

Opportunity to manage a well established team. Excellent pay, £35,000 plus based on experience. 40 hour contract working on a shift pattern. There is a health scheme, 30 days annual leave increasing to 32 on service, pension scheme up to 6%.
