We are looking to recruit a Home Manager for a Residential Care Home in Bristol.
The Home provides high relational support for women with complex needs relating to serious and enduring mental illness and/or personality disorder.
Many of the women who have been referred to this service have stepped down from either medium, low secure or locked rehabilitation services.
The model of care is based on the Recovery Model.
We are looking to recruit a Registered Manager.
As a Registered Manager you will be responsible for the overall management of the unit, its resources and budgets. You will ensure the highest quality of service is provided for clients through their person centred care plans and that unit staff are encouraged and supported to achieve and exceed their full potential.
Your key responsibilities will include providing leadership, guidance and management to all staff in line with Company policy, to be responsible for health and safety issues relating to you, clients, staff and visitors to the unit and to provide ongoing monitoring of care and service provision.
Normal working week is 37.5 hours worked flexibly Monday to Friday, On call and flexibility for service needs
To be considered for this post you must have experience of working in a Mental Health or learning disability environment.
A Qualified RMN is desirable although not essential.
You must also be a car owner with a full driving license.
You will have an NVQ level 5 and experience of working within a complex Mental Health setting.
The salary is £32,000 - £36,000+ dependent on experience and qualification.
