Registered Manager domiciliary care

I am recruiting for a Registered Manager to join my client and take responsibility for a domiciliary care service located in the Basingstoke area of Hampshire.

My client are a national charity that offers support services to people with learning disabilities and pride themselves on providing the highest levels of care and support to each and every individual. This role has been created due to an internal restructure. In branch, you will be supported by a Deputy Manager, a Rota Coordinator and a team of Support Workers.

This role is commutable from locations such as; Aldershot, Farnborough, Woking, Bracknell, Reading, Guildford, Andover, Newbury, Winchester, Eastleigh, Southampton and Petersfield.

*A Full UK Driving License with access to a car is essential for this role.

The Position:
Working from an office in Basingstoke, you will oversee the daily running of this domiciliary care branch that is currently operating in excess of 600 hours per week.

The people that are supported are naturally quite independent therefore the level of care will be minimal, with the focus being more on social visits offering support in everyday life whether that be cleaning, shopping or socialising.

Other duties will include, but are not limited too;
- Completing staff appraisals
- Work towards maintaining and improving the CQC rating of the branch
- Ensure that the office is suitably staffed and recruit where needed

The Person:
- Experience of working within a domiciliary care branch
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 as minimum, NVQ Level 4/Diploma Level 5 would be advantageous
- Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities
