An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated nurse to join bank on our dynamic and strong multi -disciplinary team on our emergency department at St Mary’s Hospital. As one of London’s major trauma centres, we are a proud member of the major trauma network for London. The adult and paediatric departments see in excess of 125,000 patients a year, with a resuscitation area, majors, and ambulatory assessment areas. The department is supported with a 40 bed admission unit and a 12 bed Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) currently working as ED South and work in close cooperation.

Location: Trust Wide

Wards Covered: General, A&E

Pay: Band 5

- Days: £17.05 per hour

- Saturday/Nights: £19.69 per hour

- Sunday/Bank Holiday: £24.24 per hour

Pay: Band 6 CC (For all applicants who have triage skills and ED experience)

- Days: £23.33 per hour

- Saturday/Nights: £29.25 per hour

- Sunday/Bank Holiday: £35.17 per hour

A successful candidate for this role will have:

A minimum of 6 months experience working in A&E Nurse role within a UK hospital and triage skills which will need to be demonstrated via certificate/course or verified experience.

Full vaccination history (must include full course of Hepatitis B vaccinations and blood test, 2 MMR vaccinations, a BCG vaccination).

Ability to work a minimum of 1 shifts every 3 months.

Pass pre-employment checks (including enhanced DBS, occupational health screening and entitlement to work checks).
