Dove Resourcing is looking for an experienced Children Home Manager to join an EBD children’s home based within the Leicestershire area.
This is a position that will offer the successful manager a significant degree of autonomy to run the home, you will be responsible for recruitment of a staff team and implementing the child focused ethos this company encourages across all of its sites. This position is being recruited for immediately - if you are an experienced deputy manager with extensive experience in residential child care or a current Registered Manager within a children’s home then I want to hear from you.
The company build their services around delivering an authentic parenting model, offering therapeutic support where required to enable young people to go on and live stable and independent lives.
As the Registered Manager you will be expected to;
- Implement quality driven ethos and ensure this filters across the whole service.
- Be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant Children home legislation and quality standards.
- Liaise with the managing director to help formulate strategies for improvement and development within the organisation.
- Achieve positive outcomes in Ofsted inspections.
- Be a positive role model for both your staff team as well as the young people in the service.
- Have a proactive 'can-do’ approach and be involved with all aspects of running the service.
To be considered you must have an extensive track record of working with a children’s home delivering positive outcomes with Ofsted. You will have significant leadership skills and have operated as a deputy or registered manager in a children’s home previously.

To be considered you must hold a Level 5 diploma in Children and young people workforce or equivalent.

Salary will be subject to experience but will likely be in the vicinity of £28-32k.
